2026 Livable Communities Program Information Sessions
The Livable Communities grant program has been updated to align with Imagine 2050, the new regional development guide. The Metropolitan Council has adopted a new structure and scoring criteria as part of this update. Program materials will be published soon. The first opportunity to apply for 2026 funding will be due April 15, 2026. Join us for an upcoming information session (pre-registration for in-person is not required):
  • Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Burnhaven Library, 1101 County Road 42 W, Burnsville, MN 55306 or Virtual
    In addition to offering the in-person information session, we have added this virtual option to ensure that everyone who is interested can participate safely, given the significant federal activity in our region. The content will be identical, so please choose the option that works best for you.
