The Met Council earned a rebate of nearly $153,000 in April from CenterPoint Energy for natural gas savings resulting from a Blue Lake Water Resource Recovery Facility energy recovery project.
 

In May, the Met Council awarded a total of $1.4 million in grants to 43 cities and townships to help reduce water use.
