Active Transportation Task Force
The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAB) Active Transportation Task Force advises the Board on policy considerations for the Active Transportation Program and the Regional Solicitation for Active Transportation which are funded through the
Regional Transportation Sales and Use Tax established by the Minnesota Legislature in 2023.
The Task Force will initially focus on the following topics to prepare for future solicitations and program management:
- Oversight of 2024 AT Pilot projects.
- Review lessons learned from 2024 pilot projects and 2026 Solicitation applicants.
- Revisit grant requirements for 2024 projects and establish grant requirements for 2026 selected projects.
- Develop Active Transportation Solicitation schedule.
- Review feedback from applicants and engage with 2027 Solicitation Evaluation project.
- Review and consider developing recommendations for administrative needs for the Program.

The Task Force is composed of 12 members who volunteered to serve and were approved by the Chair.

Meetings
The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAB) Active Transportation Task Force meets on opposite months from the TAB Executive Committee on confirmed dates with members to ensure maximum participation. Please check the upcoming meetings tab for confirmed meeting times when they are available.
