Following the conclusion of the environmental review process with the publication of the Supplemental Final Environmental Impact Statement and the Amended Record of Decision, this committee’s commitment and responsibilities are complete. The Community and Business Working Group will take its place to serve as a voice for communities as well as businesses along the Blue Line Extension corridor. 

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) served as a voice for the community and advised the Corridor Management Committee during the planning and implementation phases of the light rail line. The committee advised the Corridor Management Committee and the Community Works Steering Committee during the planning and implementation phases of the light rail line.

The members of the CAC represented the diverse interests and stakeholders along the Blue Line Extension, and included people from neighborhood groups, special interest groups, advocacy groups, educational institutions and ethnic communities. Members were appointed for a two-year term.
