Training opportunities

The 2026 Regional Solicitation includes new investment areas, application categories, scoring measures and criteria, and application platform. To support applicants with these changes, the following trainings are being offered throughout the application period. Check back often for updates. 
 

Fluxx user training

The Met Council has transitioned to a new grants management platform called Fluxx. This training will review the key features in the Fluxx system to facilitate a successful application submission including set up, navigation, project mapping, and submission.

Applicant Support virtual office hours 

Met Council staff will be hosting office hours throughout the application period to answer questions on the applications and Fluxx submission software. Register for any or all of the sessions.

Metro Cities hosted a hybrid event to share details about the 2026 Regional Solicitation.

Community Considerations webinar 

One of the ways applications to the Regional Solicitation will be evaluated is through the new Community Considerations measures and criteria, which assess how projects center the communities that live near, adjacent to, and/or will be impacted by the future project. We hosted a virtual webinar to provide an overview of the three related measures – community data and context, community needs and future engagement, and community benefits – and to explain how they will be scored.
