Every three years, the Metropolitan Council is required to update its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program goal. This information helps determine subcontracting inclusion goals on projects that receive federal funding.
For the 2027–2029 federal fiscal years, the Met Council proposes an overall Federal Transit Administration (FTA) DBE goal of 4.7% and an overall Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) DBE goal of 5.4%.
The Met Council formally invites community members, local business owners, and interested stakeholders to submit public comments regarding our proposed DBE three-year participation goals.
The public comment period is open through Monday, Nov. 16.
